Privacy Policy

Your information should be handled with care.

All These YDays collects only the information needed to operate the site, manage accounts, receive contact messages, and support future content and commerce features.

We review this policy when collection, integrations, or retention practices change.

Information we collect

Account, message, and usage details.

We may collect names, usernames, email addresses, phone numbers, time zones, marketing and community-notification preferences, account and purchase status, community workspace activity, recovery mentor or participant applications, consent choices, match decisions, structured support-contact summaries, correction requests, concerns, stories, event submissions, board or partner applications, activity responses, and security information such as IP address and user agent.

How we use it

To operate YDays responsibly.

Information is used to authenticate users, deliver requested services, moderate submissions, operate activities, respond to inquiries, send opted-in communications and operational community notices, prevent abuse, maintain audit and delivery records, and support books, events, and member resources.

Recovery-support pilot

Restricted, purpose-specific records.

Recovery-support records are kept separate from public community profiles. Participants, assigned mentors, and explicitly authorized program staff receive different minimum-necessary views. Ordinary members and administrators do not receive routine access merely because of a community or platform role.

Recovery record limits

Short operational summaries, not clinical case notes.

The pilot asks mentors for structured contact information, agreed goal areas, resources, and next steps. It does not ask mentors to record diagnoses, therapy analysis, medication advice, or detailed treatment disclosures. Safety concerns and factual correction requests use restricted review queues.

The pilot currently serves adults in Reading, PA and the Berks County area only. Service-area information is used to review eligibility and matching fit.

Data sharing

Limited and purpose-driven.

We do not sell personal information. Data may be processed by our hosting provider, Microsoft Clarity for analytics, Stripe for payments, and LucidTrac services for authorized email, governance, or future account operations. We limit transfers to the purpose being performed.

Analytics

Lightweight insight, not personal profiling.

Microsoft Clarity may receive device, interaction, and usage information when analytics is enabled. We use that information to understand page journeys and improve usability, not to sell personal information.

Retention and deletion

Keep only what supports a defined purpose.

Account and operational records are retained while needed for service, security, legal, or audit purposes. Deactivated accounts may enter a controlled deletion queue before eligible records are purged. Some audit, transaction, or legal records may need to be retained longer.

Security

Layered safeguards, not a guarantee.

We use access controls, encrypted transport, secure session cookies, request validation, audit records, and restricted administrative tools. No internet service can promise absolute security, so we also review and improve controls as the platform changes.

Your requests

Access, correction, consent, and deletion.

You may contact us to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information associated with you, or to withdraw optional marketing consent. Recovery-support participants can confirm or dispute contact summaries and may pause, rematch, or leave the pilot. Community email notices are separately controlled from your profile and are off by default. We may need to verify identity before completing a request.

Children

Do not submit a child's personal information without authority.

The general account service is not designed to collect personal information directly from children. The recovery mentor pilot is limited to adults age 18 or older. Facilitators using group activities should use first names or aliases and follow their organization's consent and safeguarding requirements.
