## Co-Founder and Treasurer-Designate

Lisa Gonzalez Ocasio is the Co-Founder and Treasurer-Designate of All These YDays. She is a community outreach professional, Peacemaker, youth advocate, entrepreneur, executive chef, and devoted mother whose leadership is grounded in compassion, accountability, hospitality, and service.

Lisa has extensive experience in community outreach, youth engagement, violence prevention, family support, and neighborhood-based programming. She is certified in both Adult Mental Health First Aid and Youth Mental Health First Aid, strengthening her ability to recognize signs of mental health or substance use challenges, respond with care, and connect individuals and families with appropriate support and resources.

Her work includes supporting youth activities, community events, family engagement initiatives, safe-passage efforts, resource distribution, and programs designed to create safer, more positive environments for children, teenagers, and families.

Lisa also has hands-on experience helping manage the programming and daily operations of a community youth center, providing young people with a safe, welcoming place to gather, connect, participate in activities, and receive support. Her responsibilities include planning youth activities and special events, coordinating community partnerships, communicating with families, maintaining program records, organizing supplies, and ensuring teenagers have access to meals, snacks, pantry items, and other practical resources.

Lisa’s community service extends throughout Reading, including her work alongside the City Councilman representing District 2 to support Party at the Park and other neighborhood initiatives. She has also helped organize and support Easter celebrations, Trunk or Treat events, Thanksgiving and Christmas activities, food distributions, and other community-based programs. Through these efforts, Lisa helps create positive experiences, connect families with resources, encourage community participation, and strengthen relationships among residents.

In addition to her outreach work, Lisa is a business owner and executive chef with extensive experience in menu development, catering and event coordination, purchasing, budgeting, inventory management, customer service, food preparation, and daily business operations. Her culinary skills have also supported youth programs, community celebrations, special events, and outreach initiatives throughout Reading.

Lisa also brings experience in financial recordkeeping, documentation, budgeting, accountability, and the responsible management of funds, providing a strong foundation for her role as Treasurer-Designate.

As a mother, Lisa’s personal and professional experiences have strengthened her compassion, resilience, and commitment to encouraging young people to develop confidence, independence, creativity, and purpose.

As Treasurer-Designate, Lisa will help All These YDays maintain responsible financial practices through budgeting, financial record review, donation and sponsorship tracking, expense monitoring, documentation, and organizational accountability.

Lisa’s leadership reflects the core values of All These YDays: gratitude, forgiveness, movement, healing, encouragement, and joy. She is helping build a purpose-driven nonprofit centered on personal growth, recovery-friendly spaces, youth and family engagement, community wellness, hospitality, and service throughout Reading and Berks County.
